Ecological Dwellings.

La arquitectura sostenible toma en consideración las características climáticas del emplazamiento y los datos específicos del entorno. Ocupándose de las soluciones de habitabilidad y de las prestaciones de los sistemas mecánicos y de la tecnología necesaria que mejor responda a las características ambientales y climáticas del lugar con el objetivo de llegar a un nivel adecuado de bienestar. A través de un proyecto consciente en el uso de los recursos y de los materiales se maximiza el beneficio obtenido y se disminuye la presión energética global mediante la utilización de energías renovables, sistemas no mecánicos de ventilación y de otras innovaciones tecnológicas. En pocas décadas se ha pasado del concepto de arquitectura sostenible al de arquitectura bioecológica, ampliando la escala incluso a la ecología urbana.

Actualmente, la arquitectura sostenible se presenta como un requerimiento indispensable e indiscutible para la sostenibilidad del medio ambiente, que implica sin duda razonamientos económicos viables y socialmente justos.

Sustainable architecture considers the climatic characterizations of the site and the specific data of the environment, taking care of the habitability solutions and the provision of the mechanical and technological systems which better respond to the environmental and climatic characteristics of the site, so as to reach an appropriate well being level. Through a project which takes care of the resource and material use, the benefits obtained were increased and the global energetic pressure is decreased by means of the use of renewable energies, non-mechanical ventilation systems and other technological innovations. In a few decades, from the concept of sustainable architecture, we passed to bio-ecological architecture, enlarging the scale even to the urban ecology.

Currently, sustainable architecture is presented as an indispensable and indisputable requirement for the sustainability of the environment, which involves viable and socially fair economical reasoning without any doubt.
